We both looked confused at one another, one of us a little more confused, and the other very eager to sniff. Of course, I loved him immediately, and then I asked the obvious question. The Artist’s Way: My Late-Night Artist Date in College

During my senior year of college, an 12 am artist date led me back to creativity, cooking, and faith. Inspired by The Artist’s Way, I wandered into a library, rediscovered my love for culinary arts, and created a mango sticky rice parfait that taught me something about God’s timing. A reflective story about inner child healing, late-night creativity, and the beauty of artist dates.

About Me

Somewhere along the way, baking became more than a hobby. It became a way to slow down, to pay attention, and to make something meaningful with my hands.

I have always been a hands-on learner. I understand the world by touching it, tasting it, and creating within it. As a child, I was endlessly curious. I wanted to know how things worked, how they felt, and why certain moments stayed with me longer than others. That curiosity followed me everywhere, especially through food.
